Ind., April 15, 2004) Knauf Insulation is offering a new product,
Jet Stream Fiber Glass Blowing Insulation, which sets a new
standard for residential insulation performance. Jet Stream Blowing
Insulation promises both improved product performance and faster
installation on the job site, revolutionizing the blowing
insulation market.
As the name implies, Jet Stream Blowing Insulation means
“speed” for insulation contractors and installers. Based on
manufacturing improvements, the new product will have a process
speed 30-40% faster than Knauf’s previous blowing insulation with
market leading coverage for R-30 performance. Contractors will get
69.7 square feet of R-30 coverage per 30 lb. bag of Jet Stream at a
minimum thickness of 10.25”.
Jet Stream is also packaged in 30-pound increments (as opposed
to the standard 28 lb.) without increasing bag size.
Combining these factors will provide an installation crew an
additional 24% of R-30 coverage per blow truck, making new Jet
Stream Blowing Insulation the fastest and most convenient blowing
option for contractors and installers.
Improved coverage also goes hand-in-hand with excellent
